History
Created in 2005, Ec-lectricity have always believed in high quality events….. that spans from high quality artists, the best sound and lighting setups to having professionally organised, comfortable events. The level of production (sound, lighting & visual setups etc) we put into all our event’s is second to none and rival any other events in the UK; and as for the line ups… well we let them speak for themselves!! If you don’t believe us, ask your mates or come and see for yourselves.

Music Policy
Firmly routed in electronic music, breaking down musical boundaries has been the ethos from the outset…. If its good, we listen to it…. If they are good…. We book them and that’s pretty much the policy….. Why limit yourself to one genre?!! There’s far too much good music out there for that! That’s not to say every genre of music mixes together well…. Hell no! We try to programme each event so it fits and is enough to open peoples minds without leaving people bemused and too confused!

We try to showcase only the best of the best from any genre going. Whether it be Live or DJ performances covering House, Indy, Electro, Drum n Bass, Dubstep, Techno, Breaks, Funky, Hip Hop, Rock, Pop, Soul, R&B, Electroclash, Funk, Jackin, Fidget, Jazz, Minimal, Maximal, Deep, Garage, Acid and as many subgenres or tags as you can think of…

We only book the real deal artists and have a very strict policy with which artists we select to book…. The leading tastemakers that shape their respective scene and the best up and coming names to look out for. Past acts we have worked with include:  The Prodigy, Pendulum (Live & DJ), Groove Armada (Live & DJ), Calvin Harris Live, Chase & Status (Live & DJ), Basement Jaxx, 2 Many DJ’s, Sven Vath, Simian Mobile Disco Live & DJ, Luciano, Loco Dice, Annie Mac, Steve Angello, Skream, Erol Alkan, Skeam, Felix Da Housecat, Dubfire, Rusko, Fake Blood and so many others…

Production
The Ec-lectricity ethos has always been based on quality…. Top quality artists need to perform in a top quality environment and this spans from market leading sound, lighting and visual installations to professionally managed nights (efficient queing systems, provision of amenities such as toilets and bar service etc)…this may all sound like boring stuff but so many other promoters get it wrong…. Trust us… you’re in safe hands!

Ec-lectricity often use bespoke spaces for one off parties and we always transform every venue with market leading sound and lighting installations. In the past we have put on parties in various warehouse spaces, a grade 2 listed methodist chapel, man made lakes, under railway arches, in car parks, state of the art night club spaces, art galleries and so many other weird and wonderful spaces…. Completely transforming any venue we go into whether it be a standard club setup or something more special…. The level of effort is always the same and as for the parties….
